Ohio dog bite law and what can dog owners do

The laws in the U.S.A are quite different from many other countries. If a dog bites you, or your child, in the U.S.A. the laws are quite different than other countries. The purpose of this article is to help all dog owners or people who are aware of a dog bite in the U.S.A. to learn more about the laws that are in the U.S.A, to help them to know what the laws are for them, and to help them to learn what the laws are in other countries.

How to handle a dog bite in the U.S.A.

If you know that a dog bit you or your child, and you suspect that it was the owner of the dog that bit you, you can call the police, or a non-emergency number to make a report of the attack. If you are injured in the bite, or a child is injured in the bite, you may choose to file a civil suit against the dog owner, by using the process of “small claims court.”

If the attack was due to dog aggression, you may choose to file a civil suit against the dog owner. It may be possible for you to recover large amounts of money, in order to pay medical bills, for your time off work, and other damages from a civil suit, where you will also be able to get a lawyer to help you with your case.

How to get help with a dog bite in the U.S.A.

If the attack was not due to dog aggression, and you do not wish to use a civil suit against the dog owner, you may contact animal organizations, such as the “National Council on Pet Population Study and Policy,” who will be able to give you the names and numbers of lawyers in your area who may be willing to help you.

Also, a “dog bite lawyer” may also be able to help you, and may be able to recover large amounts of money for you in a dog bite case.
